What you see here is experimentation. I have Photoshop, if you're going to scan images it's sort of indespensable. With Photoshop, if you use it enough, doing different things, you begin to use tools just for the sake of using them. And then you wind up colorizing some black and white images, and you develop some technique, and it generates more interest in itself. I don't consider myself much more than a hack at this -- as of yet... Still, I like the organic feel that preserving the original values of a graphite sketch imparts on these finished graphics. I don't see anybody else producing anything like this, so I feel like I'm being innovative. Perhaps I am mistaken.
